Through the rise of globalization along came the problems or concerns with regards to pollutants are destroying our natural ecosystem. Along with the industrial revolution came the destruction of our natural habitat where lands are turned into garbage landfills, the rivers of clean water turned to toxic waste and garbage dump sites and the air as well turned to almost unbearable to breathe at some cities due to the gravity of the pollution. There are actually myths or legends about how to actually have an alternative when it comes to resource of energy. This is a special article to clarify your negations about biomass technology and to dispel the myths with it.
One of the most common myths about alternative sources of energy is that they are unreliable. There is some truth with this especially on solar energy. Solar energy is something not to be dependent on because the sun doesn’t really shine that much because sometimes the weather is too cloudy and of course the solar energy cells really are not efficient on storing energy that can last for a long time. Wind energy can also be unreliable because the speed of wind is inconsistent and you have no control over it.
Another myth is that you would need to create a new type of power plant in order to harness or create biomass electricity. This is not entirely true for if you are able to install a system on an existing fossil power plant it can actually be converted into a plant that can create electricity out of biomass making it entirely easier to convert it from fossil fuel.
Even if there are actual myths about biomass technology not all of these negations are actually true. There are a lot of facts that you can learn of that are the real truth beyond this myths.

What are the Advantages of Biomass Technology?
Due to alarming rise of the pollution that are spreading on our lands many government and non - government agencies are racing towards finding the next green technology that will probably help restore our ecosystem to a much more balanced state. The reason for this is there is a rampaging rise in the effects of global warming and this has been a sad thought because now the weather patterns are more harder to predict bring in more rain more snow and even hotter summers. Now we are trying to find alternative ways in generating electricity for oil powered electrical power plants are simply not putting up to cleaning up the environment.
Nowadays there are many advantages of biomass technology for this is a great means of removing past the use of fossil fuels. There are actual advantages in using biomass below are a list of the details of their advantages.
Advantages of Biomass Technology
One of the biggest advantages of biomass over fossil fuels is that there are no noxious gas emissions that are produced when fossil fuels are burned down. So in alternative ways you can actually help preserve the environment with the help of the burning of biomass rather than using traditional fuels.
In burning biomass you are able to re use bi-products that are available for re use. Biomass can be used as electricity and it is a reusable source of green perpetual electricity. It is very hard for companies who use fossil fuels to power cities to be able to meet the generation of electricity in the long run because the amount of oil being used daily is about excessive that some day it may not be enough to be able to supply all the needs efficiently that’s why biomass is the new answer to supply the generation of electricity needed by countries.

Mining is a large-scale business that mainly focuses in the extraction of metals and minerals on earth. This is a business that can earn a lot of money and revenues for the businessman and government. Workers can also get benefits and income from mining. Environmental protection is disregarded in the mining business. It is very destructive for the environment because of deforestation and pollution that it causes to the area. Chemicals are being used in the procedure and trees are being burnt to be able to do mining.
President Benigno S. Aquino III was lashed out in the recent mining issues since his actions seemed not for the environmental protection but the foreign investors. Three mining companies were attacked by NPA in Claver, Surigao del Norte last October 3, 2011 and heavy equipments were burnt. President Aquino ordered security procedures and condemned the said attack. According to presidential spokesman Edwin Lacierda, it is for the safety of the investors and fellow citizens that deserves to pursue their livelihood without violence to disturb them. But the attack that happened was said to be for the irreparable damage in the environment that mining caused in Surigao del Norte. Also, it is a punishment for the exploitation of the workers because of repression and displacement in livelihood which was given to foreign investors.
Environmental protection was not sustained in the area which imposed serious health risk to the tribes and residents of Surigao del Norte. There was no proper siltation of dams that could have maintained the environmental protection. High-level of nickels were found in soil and water in their water systems which are above the acceptable level for drinking water. Not only the residents are affected to the pollution but it also damaged their marine resources.
Environmental protection should be the utmost priority in every business and not just trying to have investors for the country. Although economic gain plays an important role in every country but if the environment protection is the one at stake, we should think twice before we decide. If we have money but we have poor health, we will just waste our hard-earned money paying for hospital bills and medicines which we could have used for our other needs. Violence is not acceptable as well since it is not right in every aspect but the government also needs to decide which is best for the country to avoid people in doing violent attacks. Environmental protection should be given the utmost importance since the natural resources is our source for everything.
