TGEG – Leading the Way towards a Zero Waste Society
- by Stacey Lenhart
The waste products that are covering our lands are ruining the natural ecosystem of our country. These waste products are actually the main reason for the wide spread of pollution in our country; even gratifying the effects of global warming because
of this. Global warming is slowly killing our way of life not only in the Philippines but on the entire world as well. Global warming has been providing harsh weather patterns all throughout the world ruining crops and livelihood as well.
Zero Waste Society
Many firms, government and non government agencies are racing to find the best quick solution on how to help cure or treat waste from our planet. Without knowing any alternative waste management procedures these landfills will soon cover up most of our country due to the rate of trash creation daily. Without the proper waste management solution our world will become a pile up of mostly garbage in a few decades.
TGEG is one of the companies leading the way towards a zero waste society. A zero waste society is a society wherein there is absolutely no garbage in sight because there is an alternative solution to waste management. One of the ways to a achieving a zero waste society is via the conversion of trash into rdf pellet. RDF pellet or refused derived fuel pellet is a combination of garbage and diesel fuel that in turn is used as a feed stock to a biosphere machine. A biosphere machine is a facility or a machinery that is an add on to a material recycling facility that uses refused derived fuel pellets in order to produce electricity. Imagine converting garbage into electricity?
With all the garbage being produced daily we can actually have a potential perpetual source of electricity with RDF pellet and the biosphere machine facility.
