Biomass Technology – Myths Dispelled

 - by Frezel Enriquez

Through the rise of globalization along came the problems or concerns with regards to pollutants are destroying our natural ecosystem. Along with the industrial revolution came the destruction of our natural habitat where lands are turned into garbage landfills, the rivers of clean water turned to toxic waste and garbage dump sites and the air as well turned to almost unbearable to breathe at some cities due to the gravity of the pollution. There are actually myths or legends about how to actually have an alternative when it comes to resource of energy. This is a special article to clarify your negations about biomass technology and to dispel the myths with it.

One of the most common myths about alternative sources of energy is that they are unreliable. There is some truth with this especially on solar energy.  Solar energy is something not to be dependent on because the sun doesn’t really shine that much because sometimes the weather is too cloudy and of course the solar energy cells really are not efficient on storing energy that can last for a long time. Wind energy can also be unreliable because the speed of wind is inconsistent and you have no control over it.

Another myth is that you would need to create a new type of power plant in order to harness or create biomass electricity. This is not entirely true for if you are able to install a system on an existing fossil power plant it can actually be converted into a plant that can create electricity out of biomass making it entirely easier to convert it from fossil fuel.

Even if there are actual myths about biomass technology not all of these negations are actually true. There are a lot of facts that you can learn of that are the real truth beyond this myths.
