What is RDF?
- by Frezel Enriquez
The world that we live in is no longer the world that was experienced by our ancestors. The world we live in is no longer the blue planet that we once had. It is now becoming a planet that is shrouded by the toxic pollution that is turning our once blue planet into a dark ball filled with gas pollution. From the land, water and air pollution is contributing highly to our planets destruction resulting to a world that is dying due to abrupt weather patterns and extreme temperatures.
Scientists have warned us about the threat of global warming in our world and we are still unable to find solutions to the rapid rise of the rate of garbage in our environment. Many scientists believe that the RDF may be the solution we are looking for when it comes to proper waste disposal and limiting the trash in our environment.
The RDF or much more popularly known as the refused derived fuel is garbage that has been converted to pellets that will fuel a biosphere machine in a material recycling facility. The biosphere machine will convert the RDF into green energy that will power houses and even major cities. Where can you find a limitless source of green renewable energy but from garbage? Not only will we reduce the number of garbage in our surroundings but make it something profitable for the country that has the biosphere facility.
Imagine the reduction of the effects of pollution to global warming. We could give a much brighter future to the future residents of our world. What better gift than to give mother earth the care we once had under her grasps. We should envision a clean and better future so that the future generations will know the value of a clean and green environment.
